Dear NORDP Colleagues:
On behalf of the Nominating Committee and Board of Directors, I write to invite applications (due March 10) and nominations (due February 17) for Board of Director positions.
Please contact Susan Carter, email@example.com, Chairperson of the 2017 Nominating Committee with any questions about this process.
Expectations for NORDP Board members are significant, both in terms of time and effort. Members are expected to actively participate in the Board, head committees, and pursue activities to forward the NORDP mission and goals. The time requirement averages around ten (10) hours per month. View a position description for NORDP Board Members.
Four (4) Board of Director slots are available. Three of these seats represent members whose terms are ending in 2017, and one is a new seat. All four seats are open to eligible NORDP members from any type of institution or region. New Board members will be elected for four (4)-year terms.
Application and Nomination
Applications and nominations are submitted online. Applicants and nominators are requested to prepare submissions in a word processing program, then cut and paste the information into the on-line form(s). Applicants must also upload a brief résumé/CV (three pages maximum) in PDF format.
All regular members of NORDP in good standing who meet the qualifications outlined below are eligible to apply for board positions. Any NORDP member employed by a for-profit company that employs more than 25 people is an affiliate member of NORDP and not eligible for election to the Board.
